Background
The previous payment provider of our portfolio company, Egoditor, was unable to implement targeted price adjustments based on geographical location. Due to a uniform pricing model, a significant amount of revenue was being lost to competitors in regions with lower disposable income. As a solution, the payment provider Stripe was introduced, and geopricing was implemented across all relevant markets. This effectively resolved the issue.

In advisory collaboration with FLEX, Egoditor has implemented the following measures:
- Workshop with management on the advantages and disadvantages of different payment providers based on the experience of FLEX partners with Adyen and their own other B2C companies
- Assistance in analyzing the comparison between revenue gain from new customers and revenue loss due to geopricing, including the costs associated with transitioning to the new provider
- Advisory support in the development of pilot projects and test setups (A/B testing, pilot markets)
